I'd love to get you inspired about what your dream portraits could look like...This is part of the planning stages of my Portrait Experience where we chat about how we can personalise your portrait session and create your ideal portraits.

Will it be a wintery adventure session with you and your partner, cozied up by a camp fire with mulled wine or hot chocolates, s'mores at the ready, completing the look with warm blankets and woollen hats?

Or will you use your portrait session as a way to get your whole extended family together for that multi-generational portrait you've talked about but never actually got around to capturing?

We'll be shooting as close to golden hour as I can get because the light just becomes so beautiful, soft and saturated at this time of day and I know you'll love your photos all the more because of it!

And location comes into play too; the family farm that's special and significant to your story, or perhaps the beach is your favourite date night spot where you bring the dogs to run wild??

We could make it a lifestyle session where we plan to do an activity to keep the kids entertained like skip stones at the river, or even a lawn game to bring out some friendly family competition! In-the-moment shots are my favourite where I'm capturing memories being made and each frame is filled to the brim with personality!

What will you wear? Casual and comfortable, or maybe you want to dress up? The perfect excuse to book a salon day & spoil yourself?! Make a date night out of it with your partner afterwards, or have the whole family dress for the occasion and book a table at the local restaurant for dinner after the photos to celebrate having everyone together.

I love being able to incorporate something unique to you into your portrait session, whether that is getting the old classic car out of the garage, incorporating the family pets in some shots or letting the children bring their favourite toys to play with...these are your photos we're creating so I want them to uniquely reflect you and your life.

To me portraits are meant to tell a story, your story - and I can't wait to do that for you!
