Mini Session Terms & Conditions: (Purchase of your Mini Session recognises acceptance of these)
Booking confirmation - payment of the Mini Session fee, along with your agreement to this contract, confirms your mini session booking with Heidi Horton Photography.
Cancellation policy - because of the nature of mini sessions, if you choose to cancel your mini session after payment, the fee is non-refundable.
Rescheduling - as I love to shoot portraits outdoors the weather plays a role for our mini session. If the weather conditions aren't favourable on the day the mini sessions, we will reschedule to another date. If the alternative date doesn't suit you I will work to find a date that does suit, otherwise the mini session fee will be refunded to you.
Copyright & photo release - all photographs created by Heidi Horton Photography are copyright and remain the property of Heidi Horton Photography. Heidi Horton Photography may use any photographs for advertising, marketing, samples, portfolio, self-promotion and/or professional competition. Use includes, but is not limited to, Heidi Horton Photography's website and social media platforms.
Limit of liability - while every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliver outstanding photographs, Heidi Horton Photography accepts no liability for any claim or loss arising from my performance as your photographer. Because lifestyle portraits involve many uncontrollable factors, we cannot guarantee delivery of any specifically requested image(s). When booking your session you agree to cheerful cooperation and communication with Heidi Horton Photography for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. Heidi Horton Photography is not responsible if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during photography sessions or for missed images due to details not revealed to the photographer.
Creative license - you, the Client, acknowledges Heidi Horton Photography has their own creative style. Heidi Horton Photography may discuss some preferences with you but ultimately you acknowledge that Heidi Horton Photography will create images representative of her own unique style. Heidi Horton Photography provides only processed images ready for enjoyment and printing. The unedited/RAW files are not supplied.
Colour variation - we offer archival-quality photographic prints and products printed 'true- to-colour' as we see on our computer. Any digital photos you see (on my website, blog, social media sites, or that have been provided directly to you) may vary from their intended appearance depending on your computer/device's monitor and settings. In addition, we cannot guarantee the results or quality of photographic prints made by yourself or by your chosen printer. We understand that kiosk printing is attractively cheap, however you will never regret spending money on quality professional grade prints that will with time become precious family heirlooms.
Backup - we strongly encourage you to back up your digital images on to external hard drives as standard practice. Ideally the best form of backup is to get your images printed - prints last for generations & are not subject to digital decay. If you do lose your photographs or require another copy of your images please do contact us, however there may be a charge for additional copies and we cannot guarantee to still hold your images outside 6 months from the date of your session.
